What is ONDAMED?
ONDAMED is an electromagentic frequency device that a health therapist uses to determine which frequencies of sound cause a response in a patient's nervoius system. Temporary stimulation by these frequencies combined with patient participation promotes relaxation, muscle re-education, pain relief, stress relief and reduction in inflammation, and potential improvement of the immune system. The Ondamed produces a very low-level pulsed electromagnetic feequencies in the range of 0.1 - 32,000 Hx, which have not been shown to harm the body. Mobile phones emit a much stronger frequencies than this level.

How does ONDAMED work?
Humans are electromagnetic beings, and are receptive to electromagnetic vibrations. ONDAMED stimulation introduces subtle current impulses inthe body's fluids, organs, tissue and cells. The practitioner monitors your pulse while using the ONDAMED machine to introduce low level frequencies to your body via a neck applicator. The pulse will indicate to the therapist when a particular frequency within the body need some attention, and this process determines the programme of treatment. The therapist then moves the ONDAMED machine into treatment mode. The therapist may also use a handheld wand and a pad to transfer the frequencies while the treatment is taking place. ONDAMED treatment has no known side effects. The patient may sense some mild stimulation but it is completely pain free.
